At present we are seeking a qualified nurse (either RGN or RMN Qualified) to undertake a Deputy Manager position at a medium sized nursing home in Berkshire. Working as part of the senior management team, you will be required to support the Home Manager in their day to day duties. This will include updating and writing care plans, undertaking risk assessments and ensuring that rotas are correct and there are adequate numbers of staff on duty within the home. In addition, you will be required to support staff with their training needs and undertake supervisions as required. This will be a hands on role and you will be expected to participate in clinical duties as well as managerial tasks.
The home is registered to care for older people with dementia and Alzheimer's and as such you will be required to have previous experience within dementia care. As the home provides nursing care, they require and RGN or RMN qualified nurse with a valid NMC PIN. Previous experience as a team leader or unit manager would be desirable.
In return for full time hours, they are looking to pay £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.
