Social Worker - Child and Family Services - Manchester / Cheshire
A leading provider of outreach and family assessment services requires an experienced and Qualified Social Worker to join the team at a centre located in the Manchester/Cheshire area.
The Social Worker will be expected to work with the children and families who come through the centre. Specifically the Social Worker will undertake risk assessments, be involved with decisions regarding referrals, admissions and discharges, undertake progress reports and produce evaluations and final reports on families in the service.

You will be a Qualified Social Worker possessing Post Graduate Qualification (Degree, DipSW or CQSW) and valid GSCC Registration. Candidates must also have sufficient experience of working with children and families, specifically in relation to Court Work. Knowledge of Safeguarding issues, Child Development and Child Care legislation are also important factors for anyone wishing to apply.
The position is based in the Cheshire / Manchester area and is easily commutable for those living in Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Sale, Altringham, Warrington, Macclesfield and other surrounding areas.
