If so, my client are currently looking for a Registered General Nurse to work night duties at their 50 plus bedded nursing and residential home in Hertfordshire. They offer a good hourly rate for a 42 hour week and provide extensive training for their staff.
As the Registered General Nurse, you will be required to undertake the management of a shift whilst on duty ensuring that carers and junior staff members are assigned appropriate duties as well as dealing with the administration of medication, updating care plans and wound care management for residents as required. In addition, you will liaise with other healthcare professionals such as GP's and social services as well as providing accurate handovers for staff on day duties.
This is a full time role and will require you to undertake a 42 hour week, undertaking 12 hour shifts between 8pm and 8am with alternate weekends. Applicants will ideally have previous knowledge of working within a nursing home and be able to effectively lead a shift. As this is a home specialising in nursing care you will need to be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC PIN. In return they are looking to offer a salary of between £25,000 - £27,000 dependant on experience.
