A Clinical nurse delivers and continually develops at ground level, healthcare services to both NHS and private healthcare professionals and to patients in support of healthcare. Clinical Nurses are responsible for the implementation, and contribute to the development, of specific healthcare approaches with defined goals and priorities. Activities may involve, clinical audit, therapeutic/treatment review programmes, promoting best practice through healthcare professional education activities, or other commercially based activities in conjunction with Pharmaceutical companies.
